Over the years, Portal has sourced and grown wide variety of Herbs Spices and Aromatic Plants for the production of Essential Oils Spices and Fragrances for the Global Flavors Fragrance and Essential Oil Industry. • The quality of its organic essential oils has been passed by one the foremost Aromatic Plant Research Facilities ‘The Aromatic Plant Research Centre in the US’.
They have also been tested by the leading Essential Oils Company ‘DoTerra’, who has expressed interest in buying oils from Portal. • Portal is in the process of upgrading its distillation facility to full commercial scale where it will be taking its current test Distillery of 25 kilos of plant material a day up to 3000 kilos a day. This will be done in two phases the first phase consisting of a Resin Distiller with a Capacity of producing 400 kilos of Resin a day and 3 Steam Distillation pots with a capacity of 160 kilos pf plant material per charge each. Subsequently 5 other Steam Distillation pots will be added to achieve a capacity of 3000 kilos of plant material a day.
